Listing checked October 10, 2026 · pay as published by Micro1
Overview
This full-time remote role puts you at the center of training next-generation AI systems. You will design and run data workflows for annotation, collection, processing, and analysis, then track performance through KPIs and reporting. The team hires across multiple regions to cover time zones and compliance needs, so responsibilities stay the same no matter where you sit. No background in AI is needed. Your data operations and project management skills are what count.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build and maintain data workflows that cover annotation, collection, processing, and analysis.
- 2Set up and track KPIs to measure operational performance and guide decisions with data.
- 3Examine datasets to find insights and present recommendations that speed up workflows.
- 4Work with teams across functions to connect data strategies to business goals.
- 5Create and update reporting frameworks that follow key metrics and workflow changes.
- 6Improve processes so they scale, keep data accurate, and meet quality standards.
- 7Take ownership of operational problems and solve them with a hands-on approach.
Requirements6
- 1Recent Bachelor's or Master's graduate in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- 2Technical skill with hands-on experience in data analysis, annotation, or workflow improvement.
- 3Understanding of operational processes and a real interest in making them more efficient.
- 4Ability to explain data insights in writing and speech in a clear, convincing way.
- 5Strong motivation to learn, handle pressure, and put in the work when deadlines hit.
- 6Good collaboration skills and close attention to detail when managing data quality and validation.
Who Should Apply
This role fits a recent graduate with a degree in computer science, data analytics, industrial engineering, operations management, economics, or finance who has already touched data analysis, annotation, or workflow projects. You should be comfortable building KPIs, reading datasets, and explaining what you find to people outside your team. It is less suited to someone who wants a purely technical engineering track with no operational or reporting duties. Candidates often get rejected when they cannot show concrete examples of data work, such as a class project, internship, or personal analysis, or when they describe efficiency in vague terms without naming the process they improved.
