Overview
This project-based contractor role centers on building coding challenges from visual inputs like screenshots, mockups, and screen recordings. You will design multi-step tasks that test real frontend skills, complete with reference solutions and clear pass/fail criteria. Strong React and TypeScript skills are essential, along with a public GitHub profile that shows substantial contributions. Work happens remotely, and each task takes roughly 8 hours.
What You'll Do6
- Create multi-step coding tasks based on screenshots, UI mockups, diagrams, or screen recordings of actual workflows.
- Define the code and artifacts each task involves and describe the expected behavior.
- Set objective success criteria so anyone can verify a solution was done correctly, not just plausibly.
- Provide a working reference implementation for every task you design.
- Review tasks from other contributors for technical accuracy and verifiability.
- Flag ambiguous or ungradable tasks instead of submitting them.
Requirements6
- Public GitHub profile with substantial, verifiable contributions such as commits, merged pull requests, or repositories you maintain.
- Strong frontend engineering skills in React, TypeScript, or similar, with experience shipping complex interfaces and interactions.
- Ability to read, modify, debug, and validate real application code.
- Strong written English and the ability to explain expected behavior and reproducible verification steps.
- Experience with UI, graphics, SVG, or Canvas work is especially valuable.
- Product or UI designers with hands-on frontend implementation and public code contributions are also a fit.
Preferred Qualifications1
- Prior data labeling, AI evaluation, or rubric-based review experience.
Who Should Apply
Frontend engineers with a strong React and TypeScript background and a public GitHub history of real contributions. Designers who code and can show shipped interfaces are welcome. You should be comfortable debugging application code and writing clear, verifiable task specs.
