This role involves applying financial data privacy expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. The analyst will identify and address PII risks in financial documents, ensure compliance with global data protection laws like GDPR and CCPA, and collaborate with stakeholders to establish robust privacy protocols. No prior AI experience is required—domain knowledge in financial privacy is the key qualification.
What You'll Do7
- 1Identify, analyze, and address risks related to Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in financial documents and digital systems.
- 2Apply advanced knowledge of global data protection laws such as GDPR and CCPA to ensure strict compliance in all data handling practices.
- 3Review and redact sensitive financial documents, including Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), financial statements, and contracts, using industry-standard privacy and redaction tools.
- 4Collaborate closely with stakeholders to establish and document robust data privacy protocols across sensitive workflows.
- 5Evaluate document content for indirect identifiers—recognizing that PII can reside beyond the obvious, such as in proprietary processes or unique reconciliation protocols.
- 6Provide expert recommendations to enhance data privacy controls within the customer’s finance and corporate environments.
- 7Support incident response and risk mitigation strategies pertaining to data breaches or policy violations.
Requirements6
- 1Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience with PII compliance in finance or corporate settings.
- 2Comprehensive understanding of data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA) and their application to financial data.
- 3Demonstrated expertise in sensitive document handling and redaction tools.
- 4Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex privacy requirements into actionable practices.
- 5Experience managing workflows and protocols that involve confidential information within financial systems.
- 6Attention to detail and an investigative mindset for identifying non-obvious PII within documentation.
