What You'll Do5

  • 1Review and annotate clinical text, EHR data, and case notes to prepare high-quality training datasets for AI models, identifying diagnoses, treatment plans, and outcomes.
  • 2Audit annotated data for clinical accuracy and consistency, ensuring AI outputs are medically sound and aligned with real-world practice.
  • 3Provide expert input on annotation guidelines, taxonomy creation, and handling of edge cases, working closely with data scientists and engineers.
  • 4Evaluate AI-generated recommendations or clinical summaries, flag inaccuracies, and deliver structured feedback to refine model performance.
  • 5Contribute to clinical documentation standards and help create onboarding materials for future annotators, supporting the team's knowledge base.

Requirements4

  • 1An MD or DO degree with specialization in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • 2Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • 3At least 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in an in-patient or hospitalist setting. Academic hospital experience is a plus.
  • 4Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco and join a talent network for multiple upcoming projects.
