contract

Overview

This contract role puts your Ngspice and circuit simulation skills to work in a unique way — helping build the next generation of AI systems. You'll develop and optimize electronic simulations that models learn from, without needing any background in AI yourself. It's a remote opportunity where your real-world engineering know-how directly shapes how AI understands and reasons about hardware.

What You'll Do6

  • 1Build, analyze, and refine electronic circuit simulations using Ngspice specifically for AI training pipelines.
  • 2Work alongside AI engineers and data scientists to turn hardware requirements into accurate simulation models.
  • 3Write thorough documentation to ensure simulation processes are reproducible and easily shared.
  • 4Apply your circuit expertise across the full project lifecycle — from initial design through testing and optimization.
  • 5Quickly troubleshoot and fix issues in both circuits and simulation scripts.
  • 6Stay current with the latest simulation techniques and suggest improvements to how things are done.

Requirements6

  • 1Proven, hands-on experience with Ngspice and electronic circuit simulation.
  • 2A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electronic Engineering or a closely related field.
  • 3Solid understanding of both analog and digital circuit design principles.
  • 4Experience developing and testing simulation models for complex electronic systems.
  • 5Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical details clearly.
  • 6Ability to work independently and stay organized in a remote setting.

Who Should Apply

You're an electronic engineer who knows Ngspice inside and out and enjoys solving complex circuit problems. You're curious about how AI works and excited to contribute your domain expertise without needing to be an AI specialist. You're comfortable working remotely, documenting your work thoroughly, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Salary Insight

Pay ranges from $50 to $120 per hour, depending on experience and project scope.
