What You'll Do7

- 2Create high-quality Dutch reference materials and model answers across domains including general knowledge, customer support, education, and conversational writing.
- 3Assess AI outputs for fluency, accuracy, tone, and cultural appropriateness; rank multiple responses to surface best options.
- 4Identify unsafe, misleading, or biased language and document issues with concrete examples and suggested fixes.
- 5Deliver Dutch rewrites and corrections, explaining the rationale and aligning with Dutch grammar, punctuation, and style rules.
- 6Ensure consistency with editorial guidelines and tone of voice, noting differences between Netherlands Dutch and Belgian Dutch as applicable.
- 7Document feedback in English and contribute to rubric-based evaluation or QA checks for training data.
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in linguistics, Dutch/English literature, communications, journalism, translation, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2Native or near-native Dutch proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
- 3Strong professional proficiency in English (minimum C1) to follow guidelines and provide detailed feedback in English.
- 43+ years of professional experience in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education, or related language-focused work.
- 5Deep understanding of Dutch grammar, spelling conventions, punctuation, and style; able to explain why something is wrong and how to fix it.
- 6Comfort with Netherlands Dutch versus Belgian Dutch (Flemish) and the ability to specify which variant you support.
- 7High attention to detail, able to spot subtle meaning shifts, awkward translations, hallucinations, or culturally mismatched phrasing.
- 8Reliable, self-directed, and capable of delivering consistent quality in an hourly, remote contractor workflow across time zones.
- 9Prior experience with AI data training/annotation, translation QA, editorial QA, or rubric-based evaluation is strongly preferred.
