Certified court interpreters join as contractors to write the courtroom and deposition scenarios those evaluations run on, then judge each model's rendering across two languages. What You'll Do6
- Draft realistic interpreting scenarios that mirror arraignments, depositions, and attorney client meetings.
- Produce reference interpretations in both working languages, noting the terminology and register choices behind each one.
- Score model output for accuracy, completeness, and legal register in each language.
- Identify renderings that sound fluent yet alter or drop the legal meaning.
- Record the reasoning behind each interpretation decision in clear written English.
- Match scenarios to the legal settings where your certification and experience apply.

- State or federal court interpreter certification, or a credential of equivalent standing.
- Two or more years interpreting in legal settings such as courtrooms, depositions, or attorney client meetings.
- Full professional command of legal terminology in both working languages.
- Clear written English for documenting why an interpretation reads the way it does.
- Capacity to commit at least 10 hours per week.
