Bilingual Vietnamese Psychiatrist
Listing checked October 3, 2026 · pay as published by Micro1
Overview
micro1 seeks Bilingual Vietnamese Psychiatrists to support a customer-focused project that trains next-generation AI systems. Your clinical knowledge will directly shape how models learn and reason about mental health. You will create and review psychiatric case studies, provide expert annotations, and produce bilingual documentation. No prior AI experience is needed. This is a remote contractor role with flexible hours.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build and assess complex psychiatric case studies that reflect real-world, culturally specific scenarios for AI training.
- 2Carry out psychological assessments and deliver expert annotations based on Vietnamese psychiatric practices.
- 3Write clear, accurate documentation and analyses in both Vietnamese and English, ensuring clinical and cultural precision.
- 4Work with AI project teams to share psychiatric insights and improve model comprehension.
- 5Apply ethical reasoning when reviewing sensitive case content, protecting patient confidentiality and upholding best practices.
- 6Help design bilingual communication frameworks for exchanging psychiatric information.
- 7Provide expert feedback on the analytical methods AI systems use in mental health contexts.
Requirements7
- 1Medical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) with a completed psychiatry residency and a valid medical license.
- 2Native fluency in Vietnamese and advanced English proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication in both languages.
- 3Substantial experience in psychiatric assessment, treatment planning, and case documentation within Vietnamese clinical settings.
- 4Demonstrated ability to apply cultural sensitivity and ethical reasoning to complex mental health scenarios.
- 5Proven track record of developing teaching materials or case studies for educational or research purposes.
- 6Experience working on interdisciplinary projects, ideally involving technology, research, or digital health.
- 7Familiarity with both Western and Vietnamese psychiatric frameworks and a commitment to professional integrity.
Who Should Apply
This role suits a licensed psychiatrist who has completed residency and has deep experience with Vietnamese clinical practice. You should be comfortable writing detailed case studies and assessments in both Vietnamese and English. Candidates who have created educational materials or worked on interdisciplinary projects involving technology or research will stand out. The role is less suitable for those without native Vietnamese fluency or without a completed psychiatry residency. A common reason candidates get rejected is lacking documented experience in Vietnamese clinical settings. Another is failing to show how they apply cultural sensitivity and ethical reasoning in mental health work.
