Overview

We're looking for an experienced Architect with strong CAD and construction documentation skills to join a contractor role supporting a cutting-edge AI training project. Your expertise in creating precise floor plans, elevation sets, and schematics will directly help teach AI models how to interpret and generate real-world architectural and manufacturing drawings. No AI background required—just deep domain knowledge and a knack for detail. This is a remote, project-based opportunity offering $40-$50/hr.

What You'll Do6

  • 1Generate detailed floor plans and elevation sets based on project specifications, ensuring accuracy and clarity for AI training input.
  • 2Develop comprehensive CAD drawings that align with architectural and engineering standards, covering both 2D and 3D documentation.
  • 3Prepare precise GD&T callouts for manufacturing documentation, applying best practices in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • 4Create and annotate multi-sheet electrical schematics that meet industry conventions, supporting cross-functional integration.
  • 5Design and review PCB layouts, incorporating manufacturability and functionality considerations into the documentation package.
  • 6Collaborate with project leads to clarify requirements, resolve technical questions, and deliver complete documentation sets on schedule.

Requirements6

  • 1At least 3 years of recent experience in architectural CAD and construction documentation, with a portfolio of completed projects.
  • 2Strong proficiency in industry-standard 2D/3D CAD tools and PCB layout software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Altium, or equivalent).
  • 3Demonstrated ability to generate and interpret GD&T callouts and complex schematic diagrams accurately.
  • 4Experience developing multi-sheet electrical schematics and integrating PCB layouts within larger building or product documentation.
  • 5Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multi-document sets across multiple project milestones.
  • 6Advanced English communication skills and comfort working remotely in a cross-functional, async environment.

Who Should Apply

This role is ideal for an architectural CAD specialist who thrives on precision and wants to apply their craft in a novel way—helping train AI to understand real-world designs. You’re someone with a sharp eye for standards, comfortable juggling floor plans, elevations, schematics, and PCB layouts. You’re self-motivated, enjoy remote collaboration, and are curious about how your domain knowledge can push the boundaries of machine learning. No AI experience? No problem—your expertise is exactly what’s needed.
