Overview
Inspiron Labs is seeking experienced Technical Project Managers and Technical Business Analysts to join a newly formed Core Banking Center of Excellence (CoE) for a major bank. This role focuses on driving governance, standardization, and efficient delivery of core banking initiatives, with an emphasis on program management, change management, and release coordination. The position is fully remote and requires deep expertise in core banking platforms, particularly Oracle FLEXCUBE, as well as proven track record in managing large-scale banking programs.
What You'll Do6
- 1Oversee the full lifecycle of core banking programs, including upgrades and enhancements, by creating detailed plans, tracking milestones, managing dependencies, and mitigating risks.
- 2Establish and maintain governance structures such as steering committees, reporting cadences, and escalation protocols to ensure alignment across business units, IT teams, vendors, and system integrators.
- 3Manage the end-to-end change lifecycle for core banking systems by conducting impact analyses across modules like CASA, Lending, Payments, and GL, and facilitating Change Advisory Board (CAB) approvals.
- 4Plan and oversee release cycles across SIT, UAT, and Production environments, defining release calendars, cutover strategies, rollback plans, and ensuring minimal business disruption.
- 5Enforce version control and release management standards, coordinating code freezes, branching strategies, and dependency management across multiple parallel projects.
- 6Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors (e.g., Oracle, system integrators), aligning on scope, priorities, and delivery timelines while monitoring vendor performance against SLAs.
Requirements4
- 18–12 years of experience in banking technology programs with strong exposure to core banking platforms, preferably Oracle FLEXCUBE.
- 2Deep understanding of banking products and processes, including deposits, loans, payments, and general ledger, along with familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements (RBI, audit, risk controls).
- 3Proven expertise in large-scale program and project management, including governance, multi-stream delivery, and experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- 4Ability to develop BRDs, FRDs, process maps, and impact assessments, and bridge the gap between business requirements and technology delivery teams in complex, multi-system environments.
