We are seeking an experienced Senior Tableau Developer to drive enterprise analytics for a leading banking and financial services client. In this hybrid role based in Bangalore, you'll collaborate directly with US-based stakeholders, design executive-level dashboards, and optimize data sources for performance and scalability. You'll also support production enhancements and ensure compliance with data governance standards. What You'll Do7
- 1Develop enterprise-grade Tableau dashboards that provide actionable insights for executive leadership.
- 2Build and maintain scalable Tableau data sources to support analytics initiatives across the organization.
- 3Optimize dashboard performance using techniques like extracts, LOD expressions, and efficient query design.
- 4Translate business requirements into analytical solutions by writing optimized SQL queries and leading requirements workshops.
- 5Conduct regular dashboard demonstrations for business users, product owners, and senior leaders.
- 6Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure accurate, secure, and well-governed data flows.
- 7Support production enhancements and adhere to enterprise data governance and security standards.
Requirements7
- 1At least 8–10 years of business intelligence experience, with expert-level proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Cloud, and Tableau Prep.
- 2Strong SQL skills for writing complex queries, and solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- 3Hands-on experience with Tableau performance optimization, LOD expressions, parameters, actions, and dashboard design best practices.
- 4Familiarity with Power BI, Python, Snowflake, Azure, or Databricks is a plus.
- 5Domain experience in banking or financial services (investment banking, commercial banking, risk, finance) is preferred but not mandatory.
- 6Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to interact directly with US-based stakeholders and lead requirement workshops.
- 7Good understanding of data security and compliance, including Tableau Security, user permissions, row-level security, and familiarity with regulations like GDPR, SOX, or PCI-DSS.
