Overview
This role is a unique opportunity to apply your software engineering expertise to train next-generation AI systems. You'll design and build Reinforcement Learning environments that test how models solve complex coding challenges, using MCP (Model Context Protocol) tools. No AI background is required — your deep coding skills and problem-solving instincts are what matter most.
What You'll Do5
- 1Design and create reproducible Reinforcement Learning environments that evaluate an AI model's ability to handle real-world software tasks.
- 2Implement deterministic verification methods and golden reference solutions to accurately measure both tool usage and coding ability.
- 3Fix bugs, add features, refactor codebases, and optimize performance across a variety of programming languages.
- 4Work with MCP servers to build scenarios where AI agents must discover and reason over information to complete assignments.
- 5Ensure that each environment is self-contained, verifiable, and aligned with project specifications for quality assurance.
Requirements5
- 1Strong proficiency in one or more of C++, Python, Java, GoLang, TypeScript, or Rust, with a proven ability to write clean, maintainable code.
- 2Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance tuning — you know how to make software fast and scalable.
- 3Demonstrated experience debugging complex issues, implementing features, and refactoring large codebases in a remote, collaborative setting.
- 4Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of working effectively across cross-functional teams.
