Overview

This role involves capturing high-quality video demonstrations of everyday household tasks using a UMI gripper wearable device. The videos are used as training data for personal robotics, teaching robots how to operate in real homes. Contractors work remotely from the Philippines and must follow detailed specifications, review feedback, and maintain consistent output.

What You'll Do6

• 1Capture and submit high-quality, specification-compliant video demonstrations of household tasks using a UMI gripper.
• 2Follow detailed task-specific instructions to ensure recordings meet rigorous project standards.
• 3Review feedback from assigned reviewers and iteratively refine approach to improve data quality.
• 4Operate and set up recording equipment and the UMI gripper to accurately mimic real-world hand movements.
• 5Communicate proactively and clearly with the customer's project team in writing and verbally.
• 6Maintain a consistent weekly workflow to meet minimum approved data requirements.

• 3Comfort with operating, wearing, and setting up specialized devices and recording equipment.

• 6Reliable access to a fully equipped Philippine household environment (kitchen, living spaces, common items).
• 7Ability to upload large video files via stable, high-speed internet from home.
• 8Prolonged comfort using a VR headset as part of the regular work environment.
