Overview

This role involves applying private equity expertise to train next-generation AI systems by providing high-quality, real-world input. The Associate will conduct comprehensive due diligence, draft and review Investment Committee memos and Board Decks, and analyze complex financial documents. The position is a remote contract role that leverages domain knowledge in PE rather than AI experience.

What You'll Do5

  • 1Conduct comprehensive due diligence and analyze confidential information memoranda (CIMs/SIMs) and supporting deal documentation.
  • 2Draft, review, and refine Investment Committee (IC) memos and Board Decks to support decision-making processes.
  • 3Navigate complex public filings, financial statements, and dense transaction documents for thorough investment evaluation.
  • 4Collaborate closely with internal and external teams to monitor task progress and identify key errors.
  • 5Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in managing confidential and sensitive information throughout deal processes.

Requirements7

  • 12+ years of experience in private equity or a combination of private equity and investment banking (Associate or Analyst level only).
  • 2Expertise in reviewing public filings, conducting M&A or financing transactions, and preparing CIMs/SIMs and due diligence materials.
  • 3Strong proficiency with Investment Committee memos and Board Decks, including structuring and presenting complex information clearly.
  • 4Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft precise and compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
  • 5Demonstrated ability to dig into long, dense deal documents and synthesize actionable insights.
  • 6Unwavering attention to detail and a disciplined, organized approach to managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • 7Fluent/native English proficiency, ideally with exposure to US, UK, or Canadian market dynamics.
