Private Equity Associate | $100-$144/hr Remote
Overview
This contract role puts your private equity expertise to work in a unique way: training next-generation AI systems to better understand complex financial transactions. You won't need AI experience — your domain knowledge in PE, deal analysis, and due diligence is exactly what's needed. You'll help models learn from real-world examples, directly shaping how they reason through confidential information memos, investment committee materials, and board decks.
What You'll Do5
- 1Perform in-depth due diligence and examine confidential information memoranda (CIMs/SIMs) and related deal documents.
- 2Prepare, edit, and polish Investment Committee memos and Board Decks to aid in investment decision-making.
- 3Interpret intricate public filings, financial statements, and detailed transaction documents for comprehensive investment analysis.
- 4Work with internal and external teams to track task progress and detect critical errors.
- 5Maintain exceptional accuracy when handling confidential and sensitive information throughout the deal lifecycle.
Requirements7
- 1At least 2 years of experience in private equity, or a blend of PE and investment banking, at the Associate or Analyst level.
- 2Proficiency in reviewing public filings, conducting M&A or financing transactions, and preparing CIMs/SIMs and due diligence materials.
- 3Strong ability to create and structure Investment Committee memos and Board Decks that clearly convey complex information.
- 4Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting precise and persuasive narratives for various audiences.
- 5Proven capability to dig into lengthy, dense deal documents and extract actionable insights.
- 6Meticulous attention to detail and a disciplined, organized approach to managing multiple projects.
- 7Fluent or native English proficiency; familiarity with US, UK, or Canadian market dynamics preferred.
