• Build realistic security scenarios that trace the full arc from an initial alert through triage, incident response and remediation.
• Draft reference answers that spell out the investigative logic behind each call an analyst would make.
• Review model responses for technical correctness and for whether the operational advice would hold up under pressure.
• Call out answers that sound credible but would actually leave an organization less secure if followed.
• Ground scenarios in tooling analysts recognize, including SIEM, EDR and vulnerability scanners.
• Note where a model misses context, misreads severity or skips a step in the response chain.
• Write investigation notes and remediation rationale in clear English that another expert can follow.
• Adjust weekly hours to match your availability while keeping deliverables on schedule.

Requirements8

• Two or more years of professional work in security operations, incident response or vulnerability management.
• Direct use of security tooling such as SIEM, EDR platforms and vulnerability scanners on the job.
• Recognized depth in at least one specialty, for example detection engineering, threat hunting or GRC.
• Strong written English with the ability to document the reasoning behind an investigative decision.
• Willingness to commit at least 10 hours each week to project work.
• Bonus: certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CISSP or GIAC.
• Bonus: SOC leadership or incident commander background.
• Bonus: scripting or automation work in Python or PowerShell.

Who Should Apply
