Identity Platform Engineer (Sailpoint)
Overview
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IAM solutions with expertise in SailPoint, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory. Focus on automating joiner/mover/leaver processes, implementing RBAC, and integrating applications via SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect. Ensure identity governance, compliance, and security best practices.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build and manage identity systems including SailPoint, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory.
- 2Automate joiner, mover, and leaver (JML) processes with HR event-driven provisioning and deprovisioning.
- 3Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models, defining birthright access and least privilege.
- 4Integrate business applications with the IAM platform using APIs, SCIM, LDAP, and other methods.
- 5Configure and support authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect for SSO.
- 6Develop custom workflows, rules, transforms, and scripts within SailPoint to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements7
- 15+ years total experience engineering enterprise identity platforms with a minimum of 3+ years hands-on SailPoint (connectors, rules, transforms, workflows, policies).
- 2Experience building JML lifecycle automation (joiner/mover/leaver) turning manual exception-heavy processes into automated policy-driven components.
- 3Experience owning application onboarding into an identity governance model — birthright access, RBAC, and request-driven access.
- 4Hands-on experience provisioning and deprovisioning access across Active Directory, Entra ID, and enterprise applications.
- 5Solid grip on SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and directory sync.
- 6Experience integrating identity systems with HR sources and downstream apps via APIs or connectors.
- 7Degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent real-world experience.
