- Spot missing parameters, vague terms, subjective outcomes, and other gaps that block a rigorous geospatial analysis.
- Recommend concrete assumptions and parameters that turn an open question into a solvable spatial problem.
- Lay out a detailed geospatial workflow with datasets, tools, methods, calculations, validation steps, and decision points.
- Choose final deliverables that fit the question, including maps, spatial datasets, dashboards, reports, visualizations, or analytical summaries.
- Explain the reasoning behind each method so a reader can follow the logic from question to output.
Requirements6
- A master's degree or PhD in geography, geographic information science, geospatial science, remote sensing, environmental science, or a related scientific field.
- Advanced geospatial analysis expertise from professional practice, academic research, or both.
- Prior work as a GIS Analyst, Geospatial Engineer, GIS Data Analyst, or in a comparable role.
- Strong command of geospatial tools, platforms, and frameworks.
- A proven ability to turn complex spatial reasoning into structured, step-by-step explanations.
- Background in one or more applied areas such as crisis response, agriculture, environmental monitoring, site selection, market expansion, supply chain analysis, or spatial forecasting.
