What You'll Do6
- Write practice problems that mirror the tasks you handle at work, framed the way a coworker would present them
- Trace through production figures, load profiles, outage records and cost sheets to reach a defensible answer
- Check AI-generated responses for errors that a practicing engineer or analyst would notice right away
- Flag where a model's reasoning drifts from standard industry practice and explain what went wrong
- Walk through your own calculations so reviewers can follow how you reached the result
- Adapt problems across the segments you know, whether generation, transmission or upstream operations
Requirements4
- Five or more years of professional work as an engineer or analyst inside a utility, an oil and gas company or a power producer
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Proven record of building and maintaining spreadsheets as part of your own daily work
- Strong written English
Preferred Qualifications3
- Professional Engineer license
- Background in reservoir, production, power systems or transmission planning
- Experience with renewables or energy trading analysis
