What You'll Do6
- 1Read dermatological images alongside patient history, then write diagnostic reasoning step by step instead of stopping at the final impression.
- 2Tag lesions using a set schema that covers morphology, colour, configuration, distribution, and body site.
- 3Produce a ranked differential and assign severity or progression grades from images, with a rationale for each choice.
- 4Audit AI-generated dermatological assessments for clinical soundness, calling out hallucinated findings, missed findings, and unsupported certainty.
- 5Write grading criteria and guidelines that define the gap between an excellent assessment and an acceptable one.
- 6Create difficult cases that push current model reasoning, including presentations that differ across skin tones.

- 1MD or DO with a completed dermatology residency.
- 2Board certification from ABD or the equivalent certifying body in your jurisdiction, or board eligibility with residency finished.
- 3Active, unrestricted medical license in the country where you practice.
- 43+ years of post-residency clinical dermatology experience, whether you practice now or practiced before.
- 5Skill in naming and describing dermatological conditions with precise medical terminology across all skin tones.
- 6Written and spoken English fluency.
- 7At least 15 hours per week, with the ability to concentrate those hours when a stream is time-boxed.
- 8Fellowship or focused practice in dermatopathology, pediatric dermatology, surgical dermatology, or complex medical dermatology.
- 9U.S. licensure and board certification.
- 10Prior medical image annotation, AI evaluation, or dataset curation work.
- 11Teaching, rubric design, or resident assessment background.
- 12Published research or sustained technical writing, with a sample link.
