Overview
Terac runs a paid technical study that tests how well automated tools handle transistor-level circuit design and SPICE simulation. You take on a set of design and review tasks, then judge whether the automated output holds up. Work happens remotely on a secure evaluation platform, and every task you finish feeds into the evaluation pipelines the team is building for hardware engineering. Analog designers, mixed-signal engineers, and CAD workflow specialists all fit this project.
What You'll Do6
- Design transistor-level circuits and review them for a technical evaluation
- Run SPICE simulations, then check that the results match expected behavior
- Trace and resolve errors that surface inside automated evaluation workflows
- Record what you find in clear written documentation for each task
- Send structured feedback on the simulation tools and the methods behind them
- Complete assigned tasks through the secure remote evaluation platform
Requirements5
- Professional background in electrical engineering or integrated circuit design
- Direct experience writing and debugging SPICE models at the transistor level
- Working knowledge of automated evaluation workflows used in hardware design
- Ability to carry out complex technical tasks without on-site support
- Comfort documenting findings and reporting simulation errors in writing
Who Should Apply
Hardware engineers, IC designers, and electrical engineering professionals who write and debug SPICE models at the transistor level. Analog design engineers, mixed-signal engineers, and CAD workflow specialists bring the right depth for this project.
