Overview
Mercor is looking for native Arabic speakers (Egyptian dialect) to contribute to the development of a cutting-edge AI assistant. In this role, you'll use a voice-controlled app on your own Mac to perform daily tasks and then evaluate the AI's responses in both Arabic and English. This is a short-term, fully remote project paying $30/hour.
What You'll Do5
- 1Use your voice to send messages, compose emails, take notes, and handle other common app tasks through the AI assistant.
- 2Instruct the AI to complete actions like generating images, formatting text, applying spreadsheet formulas, or summarizing documents.
- 3Record accurate transcripts of your spoken commands and clean them up for review.
- 4Rate and provide feedback on the AI's responses based on quality and naturalness.
- 5Log every task in a structured tracking spreadsheet and upload supporting recordings to a shared drive.
Requirements4
- 1Native or near-native fluency in Egyptian Arabic (raised in Egypt preferred) and the ability to follow instructions in English.
- 2Must own a Mac with an Apple Silicon chip (M1, M2, or M3) running macOS Sequoia 15.0 or newer.
- 3Comfortable using everyday productivity tools like email, messaging apps, docs, spreadsheets, and browsers on a regular basis.
- 4Detail-oriented with experience in structured data entry and the ability to self-review your work for accuracy.
