- Assess AI answers about drilling, completions, and well cost work for technical accuracy and relevance.
- Build expert training examples that show correct drilling and completions workflows, calculations, and terminology.
- Mark where AI output misses standard energy industry practice or misreads data from WellView, SAP, ComboCurve, or AVEVA PI.
- Give written feedback that explains why a response fails or succeeds, using your own project experience as the benchmark.
- Compare AI-generated text against real well planning, cost tracking, or operations documents you have handled.
- Work through assigned tasks on an async schedule and meet project deadlines set by AI research teams.
- Flag safety, compliance, or data quality issues in AI content related to energy operations.
- Track recurring model errors and report patterns to researchers.
Requirements7
- 2+ years of professional experience in drilling, completions, or another energy operations discipline.
- Background as a Drilling Engineer, Completions Engineer, Well Cost Analyst, Drilling Superintendent, or a similar role.
- Hands-on use of at least one tool from this set: WellView, SAP, ComboCurve, AVEVA PI.
- Clear written communication that turns technical judgment into specific feedback.
- Careful review habits and comfort spotting small errors in data, calculations, or terminology.
- Ability to work on your own on an async schedule with AI research teams.
- No prior AI experience needed.
