Senior Data Scientist
Overview
We're looking for a seasoned Data Scientist who can take machine learning models from idea to production. You'll work across the full stack—building, training, and deploying Generative AI and LLM solutions on GCP/Azure/AWS, backed by solid engineering practices like CI/CD and API design. This hybrid role is based in Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, or Coimbatore.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design, train, and fine-tune ML and Generative AI models using techniques like RAG, embeddings, and LLM integrations.
- 2Develop production-grade microservices and APIs with Python and FastAPI, ensuring they are scalable and maintainable.
- 3Deploy and manage ML workloads on cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.
- 4Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (using Jenkins or GitHub Actions) for ML pipelines and containerized microservices.
- 5Apply solid Object-Oriented Programming principles to write clean, modular, and reusable code.
- 6Lead cloud migration and modernization efforts for ML platforms and infrastructure.
- 7Collaborate closely with Product, Data Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to align on solution architecture and delivery.
- 8Implement robust API management and integration strategies to connect ML services with other systems.
Requirements5
- 1At least 7+ years of hands-on experience in data science and Python development, with a strong focus on production-level code.
- 2Deep expertise in Generative AI and Large Language Models—from prompt engineering to fine-tuning and deployment.
- 3Proven ability to design and develop APIs using FastAPI and apply OOP patterns for maintainable software.
- 4Experience deploying ML solutions on at least one major cloud provider (GCP, Azure, or AWS), including CI/CD tooling like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- 5Nice-to-have: familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, or Chroma.
