Overview
We're building an intelligent AI recruiter that transforms how companies find talent. As a technical lead on this initiative, you'll design and ship new capabilities for Zara, our AI recruiting agent, working with the latest LLMs and agent frameworks. Your role involves everything from prototyping experimental features to deploying production-ready systems that make the agent smarter and more reliable.
What You'll Do7
- 1Develop and enhance the core functions of our AI recruiting agent using state-of-the-art LLMs.
- 2Write backend services and APIs in Python (e.g., FastAPI) to support agent workflows.
- 3Design and iterate on prompts, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, and agent orchestration logic.
- 4Evaluate model performance through systematic experimentation and refine for quality improvements.
- 5Work closely with product and engineering teams to roll out AI-powered features.
- 6Deploy and maintain scalable AI systems in a production environment.
- 7Keep up with emerging AI models, tools, and best practices to continuously push the agent's capabilities.
Requirements7
- 1Strong Python software engineering skills — you can write clean, efficient, and well-tested code.
- 2Hands-on experience building applications with LLMs and AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic).
- 3Familiarity with agent frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.
- 4Experience developing APIs with FastAPI or comparable frameworks.
- 5Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- 6A problem-solving mindset that thrives on experimentation and iteration.
- 7Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working across teams.

Salary Insight
Base salary ranges from $120,000 to $150,000 annually, with eligibility for equity compensation and performance-based bonuses. The company also offers up to 100% reimbursement for health-insurance premiums, paid time off, a 401(K) with match, and other remote-first benefits.
