You'll craft complex, real-world tasks to test and improve frontier models, author reference solutions, and analyze model performance. What You'll Do5
- 1Design challenging machine learning and natural language processing problems drawn from your expertise to target specific capability gaps in advanced AI models.
- 2Create comprehensive task specifications and golden solutions within an agentic development environment using Python.
- 3Evaluate the target model's outputs on your tasks and conduct detailed performance analysis.
- 4Identify tasks where the model fails and classify the nature of the failure to inform further training.
- 5Collaborate with other subject-matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy across evaluations.
Requirements5
- 1Extensive hands-on experience in machine learning and/or natural language processing, gained through applied industry work, research, or a graduate/PhD background.
- 2Strong working proficiency in Python applied in research, industry, or open-source projects (not just theoretical knowledge).
- 3Deep understanding of modern ML/NLP methods including model training and evaluation, transformers, large language models, and standard tooling.
- 4Ability to commit reliably to approximately 20 hours per week in a remote, self-managed schedule.
