This role partners with a leading AI research group to sharpen how artificial intelligence handles real-world investment banking tasks. Instead of producing financial models or pitches yourself, you will define what top-tier work looks like—designing evaluation criteria and scoring completed samples with clear, written rationale. What You'll Do4
- 1Develop precise grading rubrics for standard banking deliverables such as financial models, valuation analyses, pitch decks, confidential information memoranda (CIMs), deal memos, and board presentations.
- 2Evaluate both AI-generated and human-produced work samples against those rubrics, providing detailed written justifications for each score.
- 3Maintain consistent, evidence-based scoring so results are reproducible and defensible when reviewed by peers.
- 4Incorporate feedback from senior evaluators and rapidly refine your criteria or scoring approach.
Requirements4
- 1At least 2 years of professional investment banking experience at the associate level or above, ideally from a top-tier global bank or elite boutique.
- 2Deep hands-on familiarity with three-statement modeling, transaction modeling (including DCF, LBO, comparable analysis, and merger math), valuation judgment, and the formatting/accuracy standards of bank-quality outputs.
- 3Exceptional written communication skills—you can explain precisely why a piece of work meets or misses the bar, and you’re comfortable having your reasoning calibrated against others.
- 4Prior experience with AI training, evaluation projects, or human-data labeling is a strong plus.
