This remote contract role puts your financial planning expertise to work in a unique way: you'll help train next-generation AI systems by reviewing and improving their advisory recommendations. Your real-world knowledge of budgeting, retirement planning, and debt management will directly shape how AI models reason about everyday finances. What You'll Do7
- 1Examine and refine realistic advisory scenarios covering budgets, emergency funds, debt payoff, retirement strategies, and investment choices for typical middle-income households.
- 2Judge AI-generated recommendations for suitability, clarity, regulatory compliance, and actionable usefulness for W-2 earners and families.
- 3Recount how real advisor-client conversations unfold, including goal prioritization, trade-off discussions, and walking clients through decision processes.
- 4Document practical decision rules, rules of thumb, and benchmarks (like cash reserve targets, debt repayment sequencing, and savings rates) commonly used in the field.
- 5Provide clear, jargon-free written feedback to improve AI explanations, next steps, and overall client communication.
- 6Identify and highlight compliance or risk issues, emphasizing a fiduciary, client-first approach and appropriate referrals to CPAs, attorneys, or insurers.
- 7Help develop workflows and processes that reflect best practices in everyday personal financial advising.
Requirements7
- 1At least 3 years of hands-on, client-facing experience delivering holistic financial planning to mainstream households as a Financial Advisor, Wealth Advisor, or Personal Financial Consultant.
- 2Deep expertise in budgeting, cash flow analysis, debt management, retirement savings strategies, college planning, and basic risk management (insurance needs analysis).
- 3CFP® certification strongly preferred (or CFP exam passed with substantial relevant experience); CFA, ChFC, or similar planning credentials considered with strong mainstream client work.
- 4Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for explaining complex topics in plain language.
- 5Proven commitment to fiduciary standards, compliance, and high-integrity client service.
- 6Experience mentoring others, developing workflows, or standardizing planning processes.
- 7Comfort working asynchronously and independently in a remote setting.
