Overview

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust web scraping scripts to extract and clean data from websites. The work directly supports training next-generation AI systems by providing high-quality, real-world input. No prior AI experience is required—domain expertise in web scraping is what matters. The position also requires collaborating with team members to define data requirements and ensure pipeline reliability.

What You'll Do7

• 1Design, develop, and maintain robust web scraping scripts and applications
• 2Perform data extraction from multiple websites, handling both static and dynamic content
• 3Clean, validate, and structure large volumes of scraped data for further analysis
• 4Monitor scraping pipelines for data quality and troubleshoot scraping failures
• 5Implement solutions to bypass anti-scraping mechanisms and maintain scraping effectiveness
• 6Collaborate with customer’s team members to define data requirements and deliverables
• 7Document scraping processes and maintain code for scalability and reusability

Requirements7

• 1Proven experience in building and maintaining web scrapers using Python, Scrapy, Selenium, or similar technologies
• 2Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web protocols
• 3Expertise in handling APIs, RESTful interfaces, and parsing JSON/XML data
• 4Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 5Proficiency with data cleaning, manipulation, and storage using relational or NoSQL databases
• 6Knowledge of web security concepts and best practices for ethical scraping
• 7Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues autonomously
