This role involves applying systems and infrastructure expertise to help train next-generation AI models. You will navigate, troubleshoot, and recover dynamic infrastructure using command-line tools, manage highly containerized environments, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure reliability and performance. The position is fully remote and contractor-based.
What You'll Do7
- 1Navigate, troubleshoot, and recover dynamic infrastructure and long-running processes in real-time using command-line tools.
- 2Master and manage highly containerized environments, including orchestrating Dockerized sandboxes and CI/CD workflows.
- 3Build, maintain, and optimize systems for AI model training and high-throughput compute environments.
- 4Respond swiftly to system errors, executing dynamic mid-operation replanning and recovery.
- 5Collaborate with engineering and AI teams to ensure seamless integration, reliability, and performance.
- 6Document system architectures, incident responses, and recovery protocols with meticulous clarity.
- 7Contribute expertise to evolving project needs, adapting to new technologies and scaling strategies as required.
Requirements4
- 1Expert proficiency in terminal environments for system builds, server administration, and infrastructure management.
- 2Hands-on experience with one or more of: Python, Bash, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Rust, and/or C/C++.
- 3Proven ability to execute dynamic infrastructure recovery and optimize long-running processes under pressure.
- 4Deep familiarity with build systems, package managers, databases, web servers, ML frameworks, version control, and cryptography tools.
