Sr Visual Designer (Illustrator)
Overview
This senior role focuses on brand identity design, marketing collaterals, and custom illustration across client projects and studio output. The designer will own end-to-end identity systems, produce a range of brand assets, and contribute to the studio's visual language.
What You'll Do5
- 1Design brand identities end-to-end including logo work, identity systems, brand guidelines, type and colour systems, and application across touchpoints
- 2Produce brand and marketing collaterals such as pitch decks, brochures, reports, posters, signage, packaging, event assets, social media visuals, and microsite visuals
- 3Develop a custom illustration practice for client work covering brand storytelling, editorial illustration, infographics, iconography, and marketing scenes
- 4Contribute to own studio output including case studies, portfolio, social media, and internal brand work
- 5Partner with UX/UI designers and motion designers on projects where the visual layer extends into product or animation
Requirements7
- 14+ years of experience in visual design and illustration with a demonstrable track record spanning brand identity, marketing collaterals, and custom illustration
- 2Strong drawing fundamentals with a developed illustration practice working in vector, raster, mixed media, or hand media
- 3Hands-on experience designing brand identities end-to-end including logo design, identity systems, brand guidelines, type and colour systems
- 4High typographic literacy including ability to name typefaces, reason about line-height and spacing, pair type with intentionality, and build hierarchy through type
- 5Produced a broad range of brand and marketing collaterals such as pitch decks, brochures, reports, posters, social assets, event assets, packaging, signage, and microsite visuals
- 6Fluent in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma as core tools
- 7Portfolio showing a visible, personal point of view across brand identity and illustration
Who Should Apply
An experienced visual designer and illustrator with at least 4 years of hands-on work in brand identity and illustration. You have strong drawing fundamentals, typographic mastery, and a portfolio that demonstrates your own voice. You are fluent in design tools and comfortable collaborating with UX/UI and motion designers.
