Overview
This role involves leading the debt syndication practice, sourcing and structuring complex debt transactions for corporate and mid-market clients. The candidate will manage lender relationships, execute deals from pitch to closure, and work on restructurings and hybrid investments. High autonomy with direct reporting to managing partners.
What You'll Do5
- 1Source and originate debt syndication, structured credit, and refinancing mandates across corporate and mid-market clients.
- 2Design customized financing structures including term loans, structured NCDs, bridge finance, promoter funding, and securitized debt.
- 3Maintain and grow relationships with banks, NBFCs, mutual funds, family offices, and private credit funds.
- 4Stay abreast of RBI/SEBI regulatory frameworks, credit market trends, and alternative investment flows.
- 5Lead client engagement from mandate pitch to financial closure.
Requirements5
- 14+ years in Debt Syndication, Structured Finance, Corporate Banking, or NBFC lending.
- 2Experience in originating debt mandates such as term loans, NCDs, promoter funding, and refinancing.
- 3Hands-on experience in credit assessment for startups and unsecured/cash-flow based lending.
- 4Managed lender relationships with banks, NBFCs, private credit, and family offices.
- 5Proficient with Excel, PPT, and financial modeling basics.
