Overview

As a SecOps Engineer, you will apply your cybersecurity expertise to help train AI systems through secure code reviews, penetration testing, and development of security automation tools. You will collaborate with development teams to remediate vulnerabilities and ensure secure coding practices. This role focuses on application-layer security and requires strong technical skills in Python, Go, or JavaScript.

What You'll Do7

  • 1Perform expert-level secure code reviews with focus on OWASP Top 10 and CWE vulnerability classes
  • 2Identify, triage, and remediate application-layer vulnerabilities including broken access control, IDOR, SQL injection, command injection, and deserialization flaws
  • 3Develop and maintain security automation tools using Python, GoLang, or JavaScript/TypeScript
  • 4Conduct and document penetration tests, collaborating cross-functionally to drive remediation
  • 5Advise development teams on secure coding practices and integrate security into the software lifecycle
  • 6Stay informed of emerging threats and incorporate best practices within customer environments
  • 7Communicate effectively through detailed written reports and verbal briefings to ensure actionable findings

Requirements7

  • 15+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering or security operations with application-layer focus
  • 2Proficiency in Python, GoLang, Rust, JavaScript, or TypeScript
  • 3Demonstrated expertise in secure code review and professional penetration testing
  • 4Strong familiarity with OWASP Top 10, CWE, and modern vulnerability classes
  • 5Proven ability to detect, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities in production applications
  • 6Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with clarity and detail
  • 7Fluent English and availability for at least 6+ hours overlap with Eastern Time
