Sales Manager (Corporate IT Training, Direct Sales)
Overview
This role is responsible for driving sales of corporate IT training and learning solutions, focusing on direct B2B sales. The manager will build consultative client relationships, manage the full sales cycle, and achieve revenue targets across India and international markets.
What You'll Do5
- 1Drive business development for learning solutions and content development to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- 2Develop strong consultative relationships with Learning Heads, BU Heads, IT Directors/CIOs.
- 3Own and drive booking, revenue, and margins for PAN India and international markets.
- 4Create and manage a database of prospects and leads, establish connects, and accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement.
- 5Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maintain a robust pipeline, including net new business in untapped customers and geographies.
Requirements7
- 11+ years of B2B direct sales or business development experience in corporate training, learning solutions, EdTech, IT services, or enterprise consulting sales.
- 2Hands-on experience in direct sales including prospecting, client outreach, requirement discovery, solution pitching, negotiation, and deal closure.
- 3Independently handled the complete sales cycle from enquiry to proposal submission and closure.
- 4Experience managing existing client accounts including renewals, upsell/cross-sell, and relationship management.
- 5Basic to intermediate understanding of emerging technologies such as Cloud, Data, AI/ML, Cybersecurity, DevOps, or Digital Transformation.
- 6Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- 7Technical or IT-oriented education background (BE/BSc IT/MSc IT is mandatory).
