Overview
This role involves using QGIS expertise to lead end-to-end geospatial projects, from data acquisition and cleaning to map production and deliverables. The work is performed in real-time with documented workflows, aimed at training next-generation AI systems. No prior AI experience is required, but strong domain knowledge in QGIS is essential.
What You'll Do7
- 1Lead end-to-end projects in QGIS, from raw spatial data acquisition and cleaning to final map outputs
- 2Document workflow and reasoning in real-time as you perform data management, spatial analysis, and map production
- 3Organize, clean, and validate diverse spatial datasets ensuring high accuracy and consistency
- 4Manage projections, coordinate systems, and spatial references to optimize data interoperability
- 5Style and symbolize map layers for clarity, interpretability, and professional presentation
- 6Build advanced layouts and cartographic products, explaining design decisions
- 7Troubleshoot issues and explain problem-solving strategies within QGIS workflows
Requirements6
- 1Extensive hands-on experience with QGIS, including managing full GIS projects independently
- 2Proven track record of delivering high-quality spatial analyses, maps, and geospatial outputs using QGIS
