Overview

This role is for a Legal Specialist contractor at micro1, where you will apply your legal expertise to train next-generation AI systems. You'll handle contract review, legal research, compliance, and litigation support while also designing system prompts and rubrics for legal AI applications. Your work will directly shape how AI models learn and reason in legal contexts.

What You'll Do7

• 1Conduct thorough contract review, drafting, and negotiation to optimize business outcomes while managing risk
• 2Analyze cases and perform in-depth legal research to provide actionable insights and recommendations
• 3Support litigation and dispute resolution by preparing documentation and assisting internal and external counsel
• 4Assess regulatory compliance and assist with due diligence for corporate matters, mergers, and acquisitions
• 5Design system prompts and rubrics for legal applications, engaging in multi-turn conversations with agents to ensure task accuracy and coherence
• 6Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professional ethics in all legal processes and communications
• 7Collaborate across teams to build and enhance legal tools or applications, leveraging your industry expertise

Requirements7

• 1Proven expertise in legal principles, corporate law, and regulatory compliance
• 2Strong contract review and negotiation abilities across a variety of legal domains
• 3Demonstrated experience in case analysis, risk assessment, and due diligence
• 4Hands-on experience in litigation support and dispute resolution
