Overview

This role involves applying legal expertise to help train next-generation AI systems by reviewing and evaluating land control instruments such as deeds, ground leases, rights of way, and easement agreements. The Legal Expert will identify deficiencies, organize findings into standardized formats, and support due diligence workflows. No prior AI experience is required—domain knowledge in energy, real estate, or infrastructure law is what matters.

What You'll Do6

  • 4Support due diligence workflows by processing and annotating land and real estate documents.
  • 5Flag non-compliant or incomplete filings based on project and regulatory requirements.
  • 6Collaborate with senior reviewers to escalate and resolve complex document issues.

Requirements5

  • 15+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal document reviewer, preferably in energy, real estate, or infrastructure.
  • 2Hands-on experience reviewing land control instruments (deeds, ground leases, easements, and rights of way).
  • 3Strong ability to assess term, exclusivity, and conveyance language in legal documents.
  • 4High attention to detail with the ability to organize findings in structured, standardized formats.
  • 5Comfortable working independently in a remote, document-heavy environment.
