Lead - Art Direction (Graphics, Social Media, Digital)
Overview
Lead Art Director responsible for shaping and leading the visual direction for podcast-led content and social touchpoints. Works closely with Creative Director to define visual language, oversee design quality, and guide designers. Role involves design leadership, quality assurance, workflow optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
What You'll Do7
- 1Define, build, and drive a cohesive visual language for flagship assets for IPs
- 2Own and uphold the creative quality bar, continuously raising standards
- 3Oversee and conduct visual and holistic quality checks across assets
- 4Improve and streamline design workflows to support fast-paced, high-volume content production
- 5Pitch design concepts and visual directions in internal meetings that correlate to specific marketing campaigns
- 6Collaborate with podcast hosts, creators, and leadership to ensure visual and creative alignment
- 7Identify and pitch new visual ideas, formats, and design innovations to the Creative Director
Requirements9
- 17+ years of experience in Art Direction, Video Production, or Graphic Design with strong exposure to video creation, podcasts, and motion graphics
- 2Strong experience in video-first content, social media design, and digital storytelling
- 3Experience working in content-heavy, fast-paced environments (media, content, marketing, or digital-first brands)
- 4Strong expertise in visual storytelling, design systems, and building cohesive visual languages
- 5Hands-on experience in designing for social, digital, and video content (thumbnails, creatives, motion-led assets)
- 6Experience guiding/mentoring designers and owning creative quality output
- 7Experience working with cross-functional teams (designers, animators, creators, marketing teams) and pitching concepts
- 8Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.)
- 9Strong portfolio showcasing podcasts, marketing videos, motion graphics, and visual storytelling
