IT Operations Manager | $7-$8/hr Remote
Overview
This role is for an IT Operations Manager at micro1, responsible for leading IT systems, access, security, and user support in a fast-growing remote organization. The manager will build a scalable and secure IT environment by owning identity management, endpoint security, hardware lifecycle, and automation of user processes. They will also oversee enterprise software management, vendor relationships, and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.
What You'll Do9
- 1Own core IT operations including identity/access management, endpoint security, and user lifecycle processes.
- 2Manage MDM/EDR platforms (e.g., Jamf) to ensure device compliance and secure software deployment.
- 3Implement and maintain SSO/IdP integrations across tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, AWS, GCP.
- 4Oversee IT support by resolving access issues, installs, and troubleshooting while improving user experience.
- 5Automate onboarding/offboarding workflows to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
- 6Own enterprise software management including access control, vendor oversight, license optimization, and procurement governance.
- 7Manage laptop lifecycle from procurement, provisioning, refresh, to deprovisioning, and hardware inventory.
- 8Partner with Talent Ops, Finance, and Security on onboarding, budgeting, and compliance.
- 9Continuously improve IT processes, documentation, and scalability.

- 1Experience in IT operations, systems administration, or IT infrastructure.
- 2Strong knowledge of MDM/EDR and endpoint management.
- 3Experience with SSO/IdP and SaaS ecosystems (Google Workspace, Slack, etc.).
- 4Background in enterprise software and vendor management.
- 5Ability to drive automation and process improvements.
- 6Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- 7Preferred: experience in high-growth or startup environments.
- 8Preferred: familiarity with AWS, GCP, or similar cloud platforms.

Salary Insight
