Overview
Lead end-to-end buy-side and sell-side transactions in the startup ecosystem, including investment evaluation, fundraising, and M&A mandates. Drive deal execution from sourcing to closure while managing investor relationships and mentoring a small team.
What You'll Do5
- 1Identify, evaluate, and execute startup investment opportunities on the buy-side
- 2Lead end-to-end fundraising and M&A mandates for startups, including preparing pitch decks, financial models, teasers, and information memoranda
- 3Build and maintain relationships with VC funds, Family Offices, Angel Networks, and Strategic Investors
- 4Manage the entire transaction lifecycle from origination to closure, including due diligence, data room management, and documentation
- 5Mentor analysts and associates on financial modeling, research, and execution
Requirements5
- 13+ years of experience in investment banking or deal execution, with at least 2 years specifically in the startup ecosystem
- 2Experience interacting with founders, VCs, and Family Offices
- 3Proven ability to prepare investor materials (pitch decks, IMs, financial models)
- 4Experience managing the full deal lifecycle from sourcing to closure
- 5Track record of closing deals independently, not just supporting
