Head - Content Communications (D2C)
Overview
This role is responsible for designing and continuously improving communication across all consumer touchpoints (ads, website, WhatsApp, call center, product labels, post-purchase) using consumer psychology, competitive intelligence, and performance data. The role sits between Brand, Marketing, and Sales to ensure scaling without losing trust.
What You'll Do6
- 1Translate deep understanding of Indian D2C personas into ad angles, landing page flows, WhatsApp messaging, call center objection handling, and CTA framing.
- 2Own continuous analysis of competitor activity across Meta, Google, influencer content, and marketplace listings, and provide actionable intelligence briefs.
- 3Partner with performance marketing team to review ad-level performance (CTR, CVR, CPA) and diagnose issues through a psychological lens.
- 4Design high-level ad architectures (hook → emotional trigger → credibility cue → CTA) and create detailed briefs for copywriters, designers, video editors, and influencers.
- 5Ensure absolute consistency between ads and landing pages, website messaging and WhatsApp flows, digital claims and product label language.
- 6Act as brand-safety gatekeeper, vetoing exaggerated claims, fear-based messaging, pressure-driven tactics, and short-term hacks.
Requirements7
- 1Minimum 7+ years of experience in content communication strategy for D2C brands driving conversions across digital platforms.
- 2Hands-on experience applying consumer psychology to drive conversions (persona building, behavioral targeting, messaging frameworks).
- 3Strong exposure to Meta & Google Ads at strategy level with ability to analyze CTR, CVR, CAC, and funnel performance.
- 4Proven experience in funnel optimization/CRO across landing pages, website journeys, CRM (WhatsApp/Email), and assisted sales funnels.
- 5Experience in competitive intelligence and market analysis.
- 6Strong understanding of Indian consumer psychology and buying behavior.
- 7Prior experience working with D2C/consumer brands, preferably health, wellness, nutrition, or lifestyle categories.
