Overview

The Analytics Consultant role focuses on patient data analytics within the health tech sector. Responsibilities include integrating and analyzing healthcare datasets such as claims, EHR, lab, and pharmacy data to generate patient-level insights and develop predictive models. The consultant will deliver data-driven recommendations to support clinical and commercial decision-making.

What You'll Do6

  • 1Apply strong understanding of healthcare delivery models and patient care pathways
  • 2Conduct patient centric analysis like treatment pattern, line-of-therapy, and disease progression analyses
  • 3Integrate and analyze claims, EHR, lab, and pharmacy datasets to develop longitudinal patient journeys across multiple care settings
  • 4Develop complex SQL/Python queries for large-scale healthcare datasets and use Python for predictive modeling (classification, regression, survival, clustering)
  • 5Translate analytical findings into clear, strategic insights and develop executive-ready presentations and dashboards
  • 6Communicate complex methodologies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and quantify business/clinical impact of recommendations

Requirements6

  • 14+ years of experience as an analytics consultant with 2+ years in the pharma domain
  • 2Hands-on experience with patient-level datasets (claims, EHR, lab, pharmacy data)
  • 3Experience with patient journey analysis, treatment patterns, disease progression, and advanced analytics
  • 4Proficiency in SQL, Python, and predictive modeling (regression, classification, clustering)
  • 5Ability to combine multiple healthcare datasets and build longitudinal patient views
  • 6Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related field

Salary Insight
