Accountant (US Experience) | $90-$100/hr Remote

Overview

This role involves applying US accounting expertise to train next-generation AI systems. You will review, annotate, and validate financial data using GAAP standards, collaborate with an AI development team, and provide insights on accounting workflows. The position is a 1-month temporary contractor role requiring subject matter expertise rather than prior AI experience.

What You'll Do7

• 1Review, annotate, and validate financial data for AI training purposes using US accounting experience
• 2Apply GAAP (US) standards to ensure accuracy and relevance of financial information
• 3Collaborate with an AI development team by providing subject matter expertise and detailed feedback on accounting processes
• 4Work with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, and QuickBooks to provide insights on accounting workflows and best practices
• 5Support quality assurance by auditing training datasets and identifying inconsistencies or gaps
• 6Document complex accounting concepts and scenarios in clear, concise written form for technical and non-technical audiences
• 7Engage in regular communication with project managers to ensure deliverables meet required standards and timelines

Requirements7

• 1Minimum 4 years of US accounting experience, specifically in mid-tier, mid-cap, or small-cap companies (no large or big tech firms)
• 2Strong knowledge of US GAAP and hands-on experience with CPA responsibilities
• 3Proficiency with ERP systems, ideally SAP, NetSuite, and QuickBooks
• 4Experience in financial annotation, auditing, and process documentation
• 5Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
• 6Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently in a remote environment
• 7Proven track record in collaborating with cross-functional teams
